Skype, a popular IM and video calls application has released an update for its Android app. The update introduces bubble-style chat and general bug fixes. The update has also introduced Emoji and made animated and bigger emoticons to its Public Chat feature; the feature that being rolled out in coming weeks.

Skype has provided a quick change log of the Android update:
New features
• New bubble-style chat for a consistent Skype experience
• Emoji support to let you express yourself
• Animated and bigger emoticons

Fixes/improvements
• Chats no longer auto-scroll as new messages come in
• View and change avatars for all group chats
• Updated setting so username and password are required to sign back in

App version 5.3.0.65246 will now occupy 27MB of your memory space and is compatible with devices running on Android 2.3 or above. You can download the update it from the Play Store or grab the latest APK from the link below.
